Weather
The Roundup Arena is an outdoor arena. Our contestants pay their own expenses to the events in which they compete, pay their own entry fees, and only receive a paycheck if they place or win, so we feel it is our obligation to allow them the right to earn their paycheck. It is our goal that the rodeo will go on, rain or shine. However, the safety of our fans, as well as our contestants and their families is of utmost importance to us. In the event of dangerous weather conditions, the event may be postponed until that danger has passed and safety of all has been established and then the rodeo will be resumed to completion.
