CLEAR BAG POLICY

When will the clear bag policy begin? The clear bag policy will go into effect on July 27, 2026 for the XTreme Bulls and PRCA Rodeo.
Why did you adopt this policy? The safety and experience of our fans is a top priority at Dodge City Roundup. Due to limited space in the grandstands, large bags can take up valuable seating room. Additionally, this policy helps prevent prohibited items, including outside food, beverages, and alcohol, from entering the venue. Clear bags allow for quicker screening and more efficient entry at the gates.
Can I bring a diaper bag? Diapers and baby supplies should be carried in a clear tote bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”.
What happens if I arrive with a non-permitted bag? Fans will not be allowed to enter with a non-compliant bag. You will be asked to return the item to your vehicle before entering.
Are all purses prohibited? No. Small clutch purses or wallets, with or without a strap, are permitted as long as they do not exceed 5” x 8”. Larger purses are not allowed.
How many bags can each person bring? Each guest may bring: ● One clear bag (no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”) ● One small clutch (no larger than 5” x 8”) All clear bags must be easily visible and searchable. All bags entering the event are subject to search.
What if I have medical items that don’t fit in a clear bag? Please contact the Roundup office prior to the event to make arrangements for any medical needs that fall outside this policy.
Are mesh or colored plastic bags allowed? No. Only clear bags meeting the size requirement (12” x 6” x 12” or smaller) are permitted.
